BRANCIERS HISTORY

Four generations of expertise and passion drive our commitment to excellence. Based in Canada, our skilled jewellers blend tradition with modern innovation to create meaningful, responsibly made jewellery. From our humble beginnings, our founders’ dedication to offering exceptional jewellery and quality service has remained at the heart of everything we do, shaping the legacy that we proudly carry forward today.

Family-Owned and Operated Since 1930

Brancier Jewellers is a distinguished family-owned business with a proud history spanning over 90 years. Founded in Toronto in 1930 by Paul Brancier, a master watchmaker, the company transitioned into fine jewellery in 1966 when Ross and Helen Brancier, along with Paul and his wife Marion, moved to Milton. Their store at 220 Main Street East quickly became a cornerstone of the community.

Over the decades, the business grew and thrived, expanding to the Milton Mall in 1982, where it served the community for more than 30 years. Most recently, the store moved to its current location within the Sobeys complex at Louis St. Laurent and Bronte St. S. Throughout this journey, the core philosophy remained unchanged: work tirelessly and treat each customer with kindness, respect, and integrity. This simple yet powerful approach transformed ordinary business transactions into genuine relationships built on trust and personal attention, establishing a reputation that endures today.

A Legacy of Expertise and Creativity

Today, the business is owned and operated by Natasha, a fourth-generation family member. She is a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), following in her father Mark’s footsteps.

Her parents, Mark and Nadira, dedicated themselves fully to the growth and success of the business over the years. Their relentless effort, commitment, and high ethical standards laid the foundation upon which the business continues to thrive. Although they have now retired, their legacy of hard work and dedication remains woven into the fabric of the company.

Mark’s expertise as a Graduate Gemologist and Nadira’s artistry as a designer and goldsmith greatly enhanced the store’s reputation for excellence. Nadira’s creative talent earned her the honor of designing jewellery presented to Queen Elizabeth II during her 1994 visit to Guyana.

While her brother Alex contributed his expertise as a Master Goldsmith and designer, further enhancing the family’s reputation before founding his own company, Natasha has now taken the helm. She brings fresh ideas and contemporary design trends, guiding the business into a new chapter focused on personalized styles, innovative craftsmanship, and a meaningful connection to the evolving needs of their community.

The Next Generation

For over 90 years, Brancier Jewellers has built enduring relationships with clients and neighbors alike. Committed to community involvement and ethical business practices, Natasha upholds her family’s legacy by ensuring that the business remains a trusted pillar in Milton. She believes strongly in giving back through local initiatives and supporting those in need, fostering positive change and enriching the lives of the people they serve.

The legacy of Brancier Jewellers is rooted in family, hard work, integrity, and community. As Natasha continues to steer the business forward, she remains dedicated to honoring its history while embracing innovation—ensuring it remains a beacon of quality and personal service for generations to come.
